Meadow Brae is a family endeavor founded in 2020. Working with Nature, we strive to ensure the highest quality using sustainable practices in everything we do. We are passionate about our plants whether they are for food, health or simply for their natural beauty.

Our mission is to grow, evolve and develop with community, nature, and time. We trust that Nature knows best so all our products are naturally grown, free from artificial preservatives, and ecologically harmful or damaging substances. We support and protect the environment by cultivating a reciprocal and symbiotic relationship with Nature by planting a highly bio-diverse, environmentally positive, low ecological impact system with emphasis on native and heritage species. Furthermore, we strive to ensure our products and services have the lowest possible embodied energy, carbon footprint and environmental cost. To promote, support and encourage local business and community, we proudly work with Canadian suppliers, local partners, and networks.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we are located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc People. Furthermore, we recognise that our modern gardening practices have deep roots in colonialism and therefore we encourage the use of native species over the foreign cultivars we have taken for granted as ‘normal’.
